May 2013: Polish poetry evening "Form Poland with love"

 

May 10, 2013: An evening dedicated to Polish poetry, with musical support, was organised in our Department of Slavonic Studies. A summary  including pictures can be found here.

 

October 2012: conference „Poles and Germans in Europe“

October 25 and 26, 2012: Preceding the initialisation of a new Master's programme (Intercultural Studies: Poles and Germans in Europe) an international and interdisciplinary conference named “Poles and Germans in Europe“ was held at our Department of Slavonic Studies.

Polish and German participants arranged a diverse bilingual conference programme which focused on topics regarding the German – Polish relationship.

The conference “Poles and Germans in Europe“ was part of the event "Poznań Days in Kiel“, supported by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.

 

May 2012: Steffen Möller in Hamburg

May 20, 2012: A group of students (Polish Philology) went to see Steffen Möller live on stage. The Poland-connaisseur's show was called "Expedition zu den Polen - Eine Reise mit dem Berlin-Warschau-Express" („Expediton to the Poles – a journey with the Berlin-Varsava express“). May 2012: Lecture with Magdalena Parys

May 10, 2012: A lecture by author Magdalena Parys from Poland took place in the Department of Slavonic Studies. After presenting her first novel "Tunel", Magdalena Parys stayed for the Q&A to discuss the audience's questions about her book. Further information can be found here.

 

September 2011: Trip to Brno/Czech Republic

September 6 to 13, 2011: A trip to Brno was organised by Dr Petr Nádeníček. Further information and pictures can be found here.
